Today’s world is filled with many challenges. When it feels like the stress is just too much to handle, your emotional pain is never going to heal, or your friends and family really don’t understand why you can’t, “get over it”, it could be time to talk to someone. You may feel as though you have gotten lost along the way, thinking “what’s wrong with me”; feeling as if society has put up walls around you, judges you; no one listens anymore leaving you feeling alone in a sea of others while all your energy is taken up by just trying to hold your own. This is where therapy can help and you can begin to feel whole again.

Therapy can provide the tether that allows you to feel seen again for who you are and to feel connection; to rediscover and use the strength that has always lived somewhere inside of you; it is still there. I specialize in working with individuals who are going through difficult life changes, have experienced trauma, or struggle with anxiety. A large part of my work is done utilizing our brains ability to rewire itself through “therapeutic cognitive engagement”. It is hard science with plenty of research supporting our brains plasticity which is the ability to alter how we think and respond to the individuals and the world around us in a healthier way.
